Email your photos to your photostream!
You can now upload photos to your photostream by emailing them to photos@imo.im with a few simple steps:

Set up a photostream using one of your account logins.
I used my gmail account when I originally set up imo photos.

Start taking photos!
I took a photo of my dog with my iphone and wanted to share it with my friends through my imo photostream.

Select a photo and email it to photos@imo.im.
Make sure that you are sending it from the same email as the one you used to set up your imo photostream.

That’s it--you can now view and share your new photo through your imo photostream!

…and to put additional icing on the cake, we now give our users 2GB of free storage!
New Features on imo.im
If you’ve logged on recently, you may have noticed a few new features on imo. We are very excited to release imo photos, a photo sharing system that is embedded into imo’s instant messenger. This free web-based photo sharing application is designed to make sharing photos with your buddies as simple as possible.

By allowing users to integrate their online photos with their instant messaging networks, imo photos makes it easy for users to get their photos to the right people and keep track of their buddies' photos. Personal links to automatically updated photostreams makes sharing with a wider community easy as well.

The service features 1GB of free storage, with no required registration or download. In addition, we allow you to share full size photos with friends and family. Users can immediately log in and use imo photos with any instant messaging account they currently have, as long as the protocol is supported by imo.im. This includes all AIM, MSN, Google Talk, Jabber, Yahoo Messenger, MySpace, and Skype accounts.

One of our interns, Erdal, recently launched cliq, our group sms feature, to our U.S. users. It’s easy to use and very useful—especially for organizing events and keeping in touch with your close group of friends. You can read more about cliq here. We hope to release cliq to more countries soon.

Additionally, we now support file transfer though imo thanks to another intern, Eric. Users can send files as large as 50 MB, which are available to download immediately or up to 24 hours later. You can send files to anyone, even people not using imo. Stay tuned, as we have several other applications rolling out in the next few months!
